As a Senior Research and Policy Associate, Marisa leads the Center’s work on the SEQUAL team, examining early educator work environments. Prior to joining CSSCE in 2017, Marisa Schlieber was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Southern Utah University focused on early childhood development and ensuring that all children have access to high-quality early education. She has co-authored papers examining factors that influence early learning, including characteristics of early child care programs. Marisa holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia.
