Research & Policy Associate

As a Research & Policy Associate, Silvia conducts cross-state research on contemporary and historical efforts to improve compensation and conditions for the early care and education (ECE) workforce. Her previous research centered on immigrant women’s experiences and the role of gendered inequality in the workplace. 

Silvia earned a BA in Sociology and Spanish & Portuguese from the University of California, Berkeley. In her free time, she may be found cross-stitching, journaling, reading, and spending time with her cat, Susana.
