As a Graduate Student Researcher, Elena supports CSCCE’s work on the 2025 California Workforce Study and the Contra Costa Wage Enhancement for Early Educators project.
Prior to starting her graduate studies at Berkeley, Elena worked as a Research Associate for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. She supported the Regional Affairs department’s research and the district’s manufacturing, services, and energy surveys.
Elena holds a master’s degree in mathematical science from the University of Central Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in business administration – economics and Spanish from Oklahoma City University.
In her spare time, Elena likes to garden, learn about herbal medicine, and sew.
