Andrea is in her second year as a Master of Public Policy candidate at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy. Before graduate school, she worked as the California Program Coordinator at Teach Plus, a nonprofit that helps California teachers become involved in public policy making at the state and local level. At Goldman, she served as a graduate consultant for the National Center for Youth Law, researching the untimely reporting of abuse and neglect in California’s foster care system. She is also a Criminal Justice Fellow with Berkeley Law’s Policy Advocacy Clinic, providing research support for advocacy efforts to eliminate harmful fines in the criminal justice system. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan in Political Science and Psychology.
