Krista joined CSCCE in 2020 to work primarily on the Early Educator Workforce Index as a Research and Policy Associate. Krista’s interests in education policy began early in her research career when she was a research assistant at the Wellesley Centers for Women and worked on a study of an afterschool program in Massachusetts. Her experience in education and social policy research grew at Abt Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she contributed to large-scale studies of state and federal policies as a research analyst focused on data collection, analysis, and reporting for education and labor research studies in the Social and Economic Policy Division. Krista’s work at CSCCE is motivated by a passion for using research to inform meaningful policy change and to address inequities experienced by the early educator workforce. Krista earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wellesley College and holds a Master’s in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago.
